"The sky behind those lights, mostly void, partially stars, that sky reminds us: We don't understand even more." They/She pronouns, 16 years old!

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

Do the stars watch us from afar, like we watch them? 🌌💫

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

I thought I'd never see the stars again. I don't want to go back down there.

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@WellWishes07 Thank you.

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

I'm so sorry

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@WellWishes07 I don't know.

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@WellWishes07 No.

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD ...O..kay. [They stare at her for a moment before leaving quickly. They need to get out of here- far. Far away from the graves.]

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

[It's hard to describe the feeling of being buried. So tightly compacted against the Earth...worms and bugs crawling around you. Chewing and gnawing. Writhing and squirming under your flesh. It's painful and choking and crushing and they cannot breathe.

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD ..........Right..

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD [They stare back- if only to distract from the pain. At least they can breathe again.]

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD [Ow. Yeah. Okay. Fuck. That hurts. They clench their fists, trying to stay still- tears gathering at their eyes again despite trying not to.]

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD [The pain stings and they have to bite their tongue to keep from crying again.]

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD Just..do it.

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD It was...awful. I couldn't..breathe or see or– [They cut themself off. They don't want to think about it too hard, too soon.]

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD I was..buried..? [They follow inside, a bit dumbly. The relief has been replaced by a numbing confusion.]

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD [They blink. Too much is happening all at once and they're...still reeling from being dug up.] O..kay..?

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD [They barely process half of what she said.] ...Tea..sounds...nice?

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD [They accept it gratefully. The cool breeze of the open air brings a /crushing/ relief. Once out of her grave she collapses onto the ground, immediate tears in their eyes. They're out they're out. They never thought they'd get out.]

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD ....help me out of here. Please.

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

@FL3SHWAD .........................No.

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

Is that the sky?]

[Kacy ⭐️💫 @SpaceWasCool]

...Odd. Is the Earth lighter? They inhale sharply, and the dirt is letting them.

The dirt is letting them.

They can breathe. They can move.
