Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, has signed an MoU with SpaceFields to strengthen cooperation in advanced manufacturing for the aerospace and defence sectors.
The partnership marks an important step towards enhancing indigenous technological capabilities through innovation, precision engineering, and strategic collaboration.
CMTI’s expertise in sensors technology, precision machine tools, materials engineering, and advanced material characterization has been instrumental in supporting critical national programmes across space, defence, aerospace, and other strategic sectors.
This collaboration will further advance India’s manufacturing capabilities and contribute to the vision of self-reliance and technological excellence.
