Yesterday two of my friends were imprisoned for sitting in the road to raise awareness of the climate and ecological crisis and to force discussion. They are both scientists. @grantshapps says ‘anyone causing misery to motorists may face prison’. Floods have isolated Vancouver.

I built a parklet in a car parking space but it was removed by the council because it wasn’t a motor vehicle.

I’ve now built a parklet which is a motor vehicle and so the space for the community is back. Enjoy!

@StuartofBath @Wera_Hobhouse We all have regular two wheeled bikes, as a family we don’t go out often. Only down the linea or on the road when the bath marathon is on and no cars about. Would be nice to cycle more in safety.
