1/3 I am here to tell you a story, y'all. Trigger warning if you don't like spiders!
So about 2 weeks ago, one of my biggest fears keeping Tarantulas came true. My 4 month old Curly Hair T named Morrigan jail busted her home.
2/3 so I didn't actually know until I hadn't seen her for about a week (which can be pretty normal for burrowing types) but I got antsy and finally dug out her enclosure, only to find 0 spiders. Ensure frantic search around area to no avail. I finally give up.
3/3 I hope she'll come out but still nothing 1.5 weeks in. I decide to adopt a couple older (and therefore bigger) t's so its less likely they'll escape. And then I come home today and who is sitting in front of my desk? The lost spider. What a trooper. She's secure now lol.
Get you a man who will nonchalantly tell you there is a spider on the ceiling. Then catch it for you to identify, and then agree we have to keep it because we're like 98% sure it's not a native species.
