@AllenTheSauceG1@mono_twt07@mrlawoko I mean that’s true, but it doesn’t mean you’re entitled to not having people point out when you do something odd. There’s a difference between a civil right and my own freedom to say whatever I want back. If you were wrong I’d point it out just the same.
@red110769@mono_twt07 I don’t even know what you think I mean tbh.
All I was trying to say was that a person is forgiven at the point of repentance, but you somehow took that as me forgiving everyone all the time somehow?
@AllenTheSauceG1@mono_twt07@mrlawoko No I agree with your statement, but your point it invalidated by the sheer fact it never had to be made. If I wrote “the sky is orange” under a post with a picture of the sky at sunset, there’s no need for me to make that claim unless somehow I’m trying to oppose something.
@red110769@mono_twt07 I don’t know what you think I meant by “at the point of repentance” but I don’t think it meant just forgive everyone all the time for no reason.
@red110769@mono_twt07 You realize that forgiveness comes in precisely at the point at which they show their repentance, right? You don’t just forgive people for the sheer sake of not forgiveness, because that’s not forgiveness in the first place.
@BulaloDasoup@mono_twt07 Virtue is when you do exclusively that and never hold a grudge ig.
No, you don’t have to forgive everyone, but there is a difference between that and “I’m gonna hold grudges forever because I want to”
Since Re:zero was my favorite and first novel I didn’t even know that ln illustrations could be good, so I just accepted the mid illustrations and continue to not really care even as I’ve read stuff with better illustrations
People will genuinely be the biggest most obnoxious fans of a series and have not watched/read it in its entirety. While the people that have either hyper fixate on one character(and fuck the rest) or hate the series.
@H6Ec7@CPP_722_Lime@LunaHexs@ben_1225@CaveDwellingRat Answer. We are called to ask whether he deserves his punishment, and whether a society so unjust can even have justice in the first place.
This is further exemplified by fantine, who is unjustly imprisoned for defending herself.
@H6Ec7@CPP_722_Lime@LunaHexs@ben_1225@CaveDwellingRat That’s the most odd analysis of Les misérables I’ve ever read. And setting aside the fact that I don’t get my morality from external validity or systemic validity, that’s just not what the play is trying to do whatsoever.
It is very explicitly asking a question, not giving an ->
