Leslie sent this message a year ago to point out that her partner is not active on social media. And that is still true today and will not change.

The #Meta algorithm seems to be stuck in the Middle Ages, since it still fails to recognize such profiles as "deceptive." That's so... crazy. 🙄

Scammers warn about scammers.
With this scheme, these imposters try to gain the trust of the actor’s fans. They then suddenly pose as managers, agents, or family members of the person in question. Here, for example, is an account that claims to be James Spader’s management.

We only contact official agencies, such as the Federal Network Agency or the #DigitalServicesAct, and not private companies where it's not even clear whether they are scams. And since your comment always arrives immediately after every post, this service seems very untrustworthy to us.
False positive feedback
#JamesSpader#Impersonation#Meta#Facebook
We are increasingly receiving feedback from @Meta / @Facebook stating that a fraudulent page has “allegedly” been removed, even though this is not the case. These fake pages remain active, posting updates and commenting in fan groups. Their follower counts continue to rise. It's no longer possible to report them; shortly after doing so, a feedback always appears stating that a technical error has occurred. This is now bordering on the absurd, as these measures protect scammers and mock potential victims. This problem should be resolved immediately!

Even after being reported multiple times, such posts or fake profiles are not flagged as fraud or deception by Meta’s algorithm. It is becoming increasingly easy for scammers to carry out their scams directly on Facebook, rather than having to lure victims to external platforms. Fraud attempts are also rampant in chats, yet the system does not detect any rule violations! The situation on Facebook/Meta is not improving; instead, it's escalating further and further.

Our hommage to @WilliamShatner
A song from the perspective of #DennyCrane from the series #BostonLegal. The lyrics are humorous, just like the TV show used to be.

@WilliamShatner It’s amazing that these people are complaining to you instead of to those who are spreading the fake news. They’ve completely got the wrong person.
