Watching Persona slowly become just like the Sonic fanbase where people call you miserable and an oldhead for not liking every aspect of the newest thing
I understand the need to be angry with this take— but I got into the series in 2007 with KH2.
The mystery of not knowing what’s going on (but wanting to find out) plus the insane gameplay makes a great experience and made me interest in how we got here (KH1/ COM)
This is why my recommendation for anyone new to the Kingdom Hearts saga is to start with 2 - watch a recap video of 1 and CoM (some of the easiest to follow) and enjoy the most fun game in the saga right away 🤩
I promise you will get hooked and will want to play the others 😬
Watched a video about the original Persona 3 (before FES) and realized it’s WAY better that Aigis DOESNT have a social link because the ending monologue makes more sense as a culmination of all she learned
@kitsuneredFES I find in general there's benefit to playing the base games just to dispel the idea that the additions are so essential that they make the game playable. eg. P3FES is so incremental that it's easy to forget just how perfectly fine OG P3 is.
I didn’t fumble the bag the first time. He took the role because it was a limited appearance. He was always going to die in episode 7, by design. He made Luke Cage, Hidden Figures, and Moonlight simultaneously. He was killing it on Luke Cage and Marvel TV and the other actors begged me to change my mind, which would have locked him into a long term contract (and cost him the Green Book Oscar) but I kept my word to him on a handshake. That’s why we’re friends to this day. Always keep your word.
i don't know who needs to hear this but your ability to create the reality that you want is directly determined by your willingness to experience its opposite.
- saving money will have you feeling broke while it's actually making you rich.
- setting boundaries will have you feeling alone while you're creating new healthy relationships in your life.
- digging up your trauma will have you feeling broken while it's actually healing you.
- working out has you feeling weak while it's really making you strong.
- learning something new makes you feel dumb while it's making you more intelligent.
your ability to attain the thing that you want is directly correlated with how willing you are to experience its opposite. you have to be ok with being uncomfortable to truly achieve success!
This is actually dope. He doesn’t have a preference, he just likes music, and that regulates him in general.
I’m sure people will find a way to view this through an “I don’t like people” lens like the film.
