@Pirat_Nation Microsoft already owns a large portion of studios and publishers, more than both Sony and Nintendo. In no way, shape, or form should any attempted acquisition be approved, but it would be because of money under the table. Back to the tried and true MS strategy of monopolizing.
@Pirat_Nation Don't need to buy studios to have third party exclusives. That's absolute nonsense. They wouldn't even be third party at that point. You approach a dev and/or publisher, strike a deal for an IP, preferably a new one that would require more funding & would garner interest.
@LunaBeauChene@Variety HEY!
There will be no slander about The Cell, okay?
Although you are correct, Jen was not the reason to see that film. The premise and Vincent D'onofrio were the reasons to go see it and to still watch it to this day.
@BigNinjah@Stealth40k How about Xbox actually do something with the multitude of titles they've acquired since last gen first before we talk about them buying another game series to collect dust on their shelf?
@kdeuce101@aaholmes721@esidery@LoJackson94@AdamSchefter But the days of these coaches that go on for 10-15+ years are pretty much gone. I think the idea of starting nearly completely from scratch and building up another Super Bowl winning team once key players retire out doesn't excite him like it may have once done.
@kdeuce101@aaholmes721@esidery@LoJackson94@AdamSchefter But McVay really doesn't need to is the point.
The man already has a legendary head coaching career. As a nearly lifelong Rams fan since the 90s, I am very thankful that the Rams landed him after years of mediocre or straight up bad head coaches and that they came back to LA.
@ravenwizardd@esidery@AdamSchefter If he was to come back as a defensive lineman coach or an assistant coach that helps the d-line and linebacker corps. improve their pass rush and block shedding, that'd be great. But jumping right back in the deep end after three years would be pretty rough.
@ravenwizardd@esidery@AdamSchefter As great as it sounds on paper, that's 3 years of not taking hits, not giving hits, not being in the trenches, your body not being acclimated to all the reps and plays, etc., etc., etc.
He's definitely stayed in good shape. But he got out with a ring already and his health.
@Arjunownit0@mrpyo1 I bought Gears Reloaded and looked forward to the rest of the series eventually making its way to PS. I was looking forward to Halo. But with yet another flip flop on these titles, which I understand, I know not to waste my money on Halo since the rest won't make it over to PS.
@Arjunownit0@mrpyo1 I owned every Xbox up to the Xbox One X.
I've played the Gears and Halo series. And I most definitely miss those games, as well as Sunset Overdrive. But with how Xbox has been ran since the twilight days of the 360, the One X was the last Xbox hardware I'll ever buy.
@Halo But I do miss the games that helped build the Xbox brand and was stoked to see them getting released on PS.
Don't get me wrong, I totally get the backtracking. Xbox was having major issues before they started putting their exclusives out to all platforms.
Game Pass #1 issue.
@Halo Had to buy the 360 three different times because of RRoD and Microsoft's inability to fix the issue until late in the life cycle.
Had a launch Xbox One, still bought a One X despite the major disappointment the base model was with the lack of fresh games. Told myself no more.
