@UnderdogSpecial@stats_nats @AQ49XRewLJxV2bI @darrenrovell Max Scherzer's contract is one of the best examples of a massive contract working really well for both parties. If anything, it's an underpay for what he did for the Nats.
@georgebrownmem@herandrews Probably because unless the trains are at full capacity, it has next to zero impact on commuters. Not saying I'm going to cheer when people do it, but if the worst that it does is cause you emotional distress, that's a price I don't mind society paying.
@Malik4Play We have the best National Parks system in the world. Diversity in some parts I suppose. I don't think a lot of other countries that can offer as wide a variety of competent ethnic food as some of the cities here can.
@scubafries @mlbnflnbaepl@Alden_Gonzalez I vaguely remember reading that there was a clubhouse meeting and the players decided they didn't want him back. No idea how many of those players are still Dodgers though, or if new circumstances have changed any of that.
@MushtaqBilalPhD@AnnaMeierPS I think students are often a bit more familiar with how extensive cheating is, and as such can be rather frustrated with the lack of consequences for those who they know are doing so. I know some people held an attitude of "if you can't beat them, join them" when I was studying.
@SleepyEEL @commesde While there are certainly conservatives in the area and neighborhoods that are more so than others, NoVa is decidedly not a Republican stronghold.
