@TheRealHoarse Rough day. Discussing with my 8 yo that he needs to change schools. He was diagnosed with dyslexia 2 weeks ago. Can't stay in his current school (French immersion- yes we are in Canada). Needs to leave friends and start new school that's only English. He was crying about it.

People who blame the judge for Kyle Rittenhouse (justly) being unanimously declared not guilty on all counts (including the only juror of color) are looking in the wrong place. Rittenhouse’s best helpers were the prosecutors. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more inept prosecution.

These houses along Main Street in Hampstead MD testify to when we were still a front porch and not a private back patio people. If you’d done well you wanted to sit on the porch of your nice house and gossip with your fellows as they wandered by. The car ended that.
