Sad to tell you that Guy Edwards died today. Guy was my manager in F1 & F2. The Guinness and ICI deals were because of Guy. Some of you will know that he suffered a devastating stroke many years ago and has lived in the west of Ireland ever since. His ability to "do the deal" supported so many race teams. He received the Queens Gallantry Medal for pulling Niki Lauda from his burning Ferrari in 1976. Up to the end he loved to chat about the old days. RIP my friend.

@HillF1 I had to check #Sutrees was driving for #Ferrari at #Silverstone in July 1965 when the first five places were taken by Brits. I can remember when your father died but I was too young to have heard of Mike Spence. Seems that was before my Matchbox 917.

For me the nationality issue is secondary to #Hamilton winning for #Ferrari overcoming a difficult start with that team.

I want to introduce you to Steve. He’s 83. His wife died a few months ago and he comes to this lodge in Spring Mill, Indiana and draws. He taught art in Terre Haute, IN his whole life. He also did courtroom sketches in court cases. In the comments I’ll share some pics from his sketchbook. He was excited when I said I was going to share his sketches with the world.
