@The_Gazette I live in an area (Saskatchewan) where fracking is a major industry, fracking is short for fracturing, whete rock is fractured to release oil/gas, this is normal, 'earthquake' is not correct terminology. The bigger issue is contamination of aquifers.

@The_Gazette Cuadrilla are #fracking at very low pressure at the moment and the fracking ‘slip’ has triggered seismic events. The concern is for the integrity of the well casing especially when full fracking takes place. A damaged well allows for the migration of contamination.

The main span of the new Dinckley footbridge near #HurstGreen was lifted into place at 6.30am this morning after the operation was delayed due to high winds on Sunday. The old bridge was badly damaged during Storm Desmond in December 2015.
