@digitallknight She explained that when I say 'for god's sake' that I'm proving the existence of a divine power and then we stared at a dot for 20 minutes. It was a struggle.
@digitallknight I followed through on that once. Attended a very niche meditation workshop by, what I later discovered to be, an end of days cult. It was in a living room and there was one other person there; a devout follower who'd abandoned their life and possessions to join. He didn't talk.
@_Jakeful @GilbertLiz Don't beat yourself up, many of us have made the same mistake. And this particular mistaken person had even read the 'Pray' book. There's definitely more to Liz than a bestseller.
@HeyGeek It seems to be a common thing across podcasts. My pet theory is that the intimacy listeners love in podcasts is lost. It's not just you and them, and it's not just them and them. They're playing for a crowd and it changes the dynamic. Not for the worse, but it is different.
@manateebee A common podmaker recommendation, is to start at the beginning whilst also listening to any new episode as it's released. That way you see the fully grown show, get the current references, and still catch up on the in jokes.
That said, my first MBMBAM was Ep. 200. Just cos.
Here's our old friend Ranger Tom - inventor of the Hanus and advocate of primate playmates - getting ready to record his second episode of the show. He wasn't a fan of the Very Good Kitten.
