@g3minij0hn Josh is apologising which is different than Colleen and he was a fan first so he was initially her victim, but he waited way too long to take responsibility (if that's what he's really doing) he could've made things right with you in private a long time ago
@g3minij0hn For me at first I saw it differently because he was under the influence and she was in full control of her faculties all the time but now after hearing your story fully I'm in full support of you holding them both in the same accountability.
Christians,
You should “work out YOUR OWN salvation” and leave others to work out their own …on their own, unless they ask for your input.
If God didn’t send Jesus to condemn the world, I doubt he sent you.
@JoshuaDtown Coming back to youtube isn't worth wrecking your peace. I'm so overjoyed for you that you have moved on and have a solid support system outside of youtube. Keep up your healing journey!
@g3minij0hn Josh has apologised, has gotten sober and knows what he did in his addiction was wrong. At this point you choosing not to forgive him (not speaking about anyone else because he's the only one that made a public apology) is only hurting you. Let him go for you, nobody else.
Many Christians think it's loving to say "love the sinner, hate the sin."
I thought it was when I said it.
But I was wrong. It wasn't until I became LGBTQ affirming that I realized how unloving I had been.
Genuinely loving people is one of the best parts of deconstruction.
