This is actually a microcosm of the typical yaas-lighting cycle that happens with so many trans-identified ppl:

> person medically transitions, fundamentally altering their bodies in irreversible ways

> society gaslights them and tells them how amazing they are/look, or how incredible they were in the Odyssey

> they find their life fundamentally changes and they are having a hard time getting the thing they were told they could expect (producers not casting them in movies/lesbians refusing to date them/ppl refusing ti see them as the opposite sex etc)

> they are confused about this, as everyone has been telling them non stop how hot/masculine/feminine/beautiful they are. Therefore, the only explanation?

> Transphobia

Once again, it is not kind to tell mentally unstable ppl that they are something they are not, especially when they use that false encouragement to permanently alter their bodies and commit irreversible harm to themselves. It is the very definition of cruel.
