Congratulations to Coach Dean Heaviland for his 100th career victory. Dean has a record of 100-31-9, with 5 Indiana Crossroad Conference titles (2019,2020,2021,2022 and 2023) and 4 Sectional Championships (2019, 2021, 2022, and 2023). Congratulations Coach!

Fall weather made a visit this morning at the Marion County Championship!
Almost everyone ran PR’s or SB’s with Morgan Smith led that effort by finishing All-County (8th) and BREAKING HER OWN SCHOOL RECORD! 19:30.3 🏃🏼‍♀️

When it comes to recovery, there's a lot of junk that doesn't work. We reach for a super supplement, instead of what actually works:

1. Sleep ~8 hours
2. Hydrate adequately
3. Socialize with friends
4. Have a way to decompress
5. Eat enough real food
6. Slow/easy exercise

What a morning!
Morgan made history TWICE today @bhsdogsbxc @BHSDogsGirlsXC at the IHSAA Regional championship. She ran a great race and broke the school’s 5K record in a time of 19:32.2….and became the first Speedway runner to qualify for the State Meet!
