[He positions himself between Lupa and the mesh masked man]

Peter would tilted his head in confusion but not before shoot webs to Lupa and web her down the ground in case she tryna explain . God Damm this man is peak paranoia

“What do you need that guy for?”

[A familiar voice fills her ears as her eyes start to dart around, still not pinpointing who is speaking it]

“You got the better guy right here!”

[All of a sudden, in a spot in her vision she swore she had checked before, Sparrow stood]

[Her ears ring as her vision blurs at the edges. Unfortunately, that was one hell of a fall.]

[She can barely make out his words as she lifts a trembling hand to her earpiece.]

“Slade…”

[Her other hand fumbles weakly towards a pocket of her jacket.]

[A silence…]

Doc: “Actually, I think you qualify for one of our ‘special rounds’”

[Sparrow’s attention was peaked]

S: “What’s so special about it?”

Doc: “High risk, high reward. Plus if you’re good the boss could ask you to be a headliner”

[A faint blush creeps across Lupa’s cheeks at the immediate K.O.]

[With that, she resumes her trek, keeping her head down as she deliberately slips away from the scene, doing her best to remain unnoticed.]

[The blow touches air as Sparrow redirects upward, using the opening to throat punch the scrawny man]

[He clutches his throat, unable to breathe, as he is swept off his feet and slammed into the ground by Sparrow]

[The man was knocked out, concrete shattered around him]

[His announcement stops Lupa in her tracks, ears perking with sudden interest.]

‘This oughta be good.’

[The tattooed man wastes no time, immediately swinging at Sparrow…]

[Sparrow, confused at his rebuttal]

S:”….wait now?”

Doc:”No no take your time YES NOW! There’s only one slot left for tonight, I just turned this guy down but you said “anybody”. So you two are gonna fight, right now, right here. Winner moves on to the real thing”

[Lupa’s ears twitch as she continues past them, pointedly pretending not to notice his presence.]

[Out of the corner of her eye she sees the Doctor grab a random, scrawny guy covered in tattoos, before shoving him towards Sparrow.]

Doc: “Here… I never liked this one.”

@arkhamW0LF [Sparrow masks it well, continuing to comply with the man taking his weight but on the inside he’s panicking]

S: “Shiiiiiit, she’s from Arkham”

Doc: “What was that?”

S: “ Throw anybody at me, I’ll park em”

‘Hopefully her nose isn’t good, otherwise this *disguise* is useless’

[After gaining entrance with his glaringly obvious fake name, Sparrow makes his way into a dimly lit room with a manual scale, a doctor, and another stocky guard]

S: ‘Those three definitely would’ve been trouble if I went in guns blazing’

“Tyler is it?”

“Yup Tyler Lurden”

[Sparrow had been sent to investigate a fight ring doubling in illegal performance-enhancement peddling. His objective: learn the identity of it’s boss and obtaining a sample of the drug]

The doorguard eyes him up and down

“All of you think you’re such comedians, go down the hallway to the left. They’ll weigh you in and match you up with someone.”

[The guard knocks twice on the middle door behind him, it swung open by an equally bulkier guard]

S: “Man, and I was just getting to my good stuff too”
