The reality of these verses is unfathomable to me. Yet this is our God and as true for us today, as it was true for Joshua. The Lord our God, fights for, and is with his people.

What an incredible experience it must have been when the Lord met Moses on the top of Pisgah to show him all the land he was giving to his people. It must have been covered with the glory of God. Far from normal. Then Moses died 120 yrs old. Eye undimmed, vigour unabated. Its unimaginable.

Wouldn’t it be great to have a UK wide supermarket chain that only sells UK produced food and with higher supermarket purchase prices given to farmers. It would also be more environmentally sustainable due to lower food transportation mileages compared to imported overseas food.
