@mallieg1023 @cooltxchick It's not really greed. There's a lot of expense that goes in to marching band that a lot of people don't realize. Uniforms, music, drill, buses, bus drivers, teachers, instruments, food, janitors that stay after school and weekends while the band practices, etc.

@cooltxchick Have you tried talking to the school or the band director? Sometimes they have funds to help kids but it's not advertised. Obviously I have no idea how your school does it but they might be able to do a payment plan.

@cooltxchick I loved marching band in high school. I wasn't particularly good at it, but I loved it. It's probably the only thing that kept me social in high school. I'm so happy for him that he tried it out and likes it.

@roh_schach I guess it depends. I really don't like mayo but I will eat some things that have mayo like deviled eggs or Cole slaw but I will never willingly add mayo to a sandwich. But if its an ingredient that I really truly hate I won't eat the dish.
