@GameOnGardner Better than "syrup" syrup, maybe, but nothing is better than maple syrup.
For real, sounds tasty, will mess around with it.
Unrelated but related, there's a British style of doing sugar and fresh lemon juice on pancakes, and that's surprisingly fantastic
@cheapdevotion I was fortunate to find the gameplay fun, but it did always feel like balancing on a tightrope with risk of not working. Definitely some unsatisfying deaths, and I think if I had dragged the experience out longer than I did, it would have gotten stale. Ended up loving it though.
@Audio3ric More seriously, I will certainly be back to some degree later this year, because most of my belongings are still in Boston (in storage). But where I'll re-settle, and/if I just turn right back around to Istanbul again, is currently up for consideration.
@Audio3ric Miss you too! Our drink-accompanied shop-talkin' is about 1 year overdue, and it sounds like we have much to talk about regarding tasty coffees.
Only caveat is it's a bit inconvenient to find a mutually convenient place at the moment (I'm in Istanbul for the near future).
This project was a MASSIVE engineering undertaking, and I'm incredibly pleased with the results https://t.co/TcoXxffO61. Bravo to all the @LongwoodSymOrch musicians for the wonderful playing.
@cheapdevotion @bfod Big Sur seems to need a bit more manual permissions-granting for various file/folder access, but yeah I haven't seen any differences in the needs for notarization between Catalina and Big Sur. But it's all a mess so who can say 🤷♂️

@CandyComposer I don't think you can really convince someone via guilt that they should be paying more for work. But I do think we're seeing a positive trend in respect for reasonable wages, it's just a slow process of positive reinforcement and professionalism.
@CandyComposer If it's the first discussion of price, I don't think you need to justify yourself. But if they ask why you're more expensive, you can politely explain that your rates are what you believe is fair, maybe citing other disciplines for comparison.
@sjsivak Dave Arnold's Cooking Issues for intense food nerdery (his, uh, bombastic style takes a bit getting used to, but the info is fantastic). Milk Street podcast is solid for conversations about cuisines. Dave Chang is good for conversations around restauranting.
@Cynderstone @eliciadonze Yeah, I'm open to being corrected here. But I think it could be effective in a very matter-of-fact tone: "This is not appropriate and if this continues, I won't have a choice but to report you for harassment." Bullies often back down when real adult consequence is realized.
@eliciadonze I would respond incredibly bluntly that any further communication from them will result in you publicizing who they are for harassment. You don't need to appease them just because they have a large following. No seasoned creative professional would condone this behavior.
@eliciadonze This is blatant textbook cyberbullying. Saying you deserved harassment, regardless of reason, is blatant emotional abusive language and is inexcusable in any professional setting.
