Named after MSU President, Dr. Clifton R. Wharton Jr. It’s named to honor both him and his wife.
He was president in 1970 (1970-1978) and was the 14th president of the university. President Wharton played a big part in the integration of the College of Osteopathic Medicine. #BHM
