@Valphrex@Nu_Hero_0913 Totally makes sense! And let’s be honest…this is not a stellar production 😆 I just don’t believe that it’s the level of vile some are saying it is :)
Target audience is normal people. Sure, it’s kind of vulgar, but it’s funny. Not every movie or show is for everyone.
I’m not sure how cartoon animals interacting with other cartoon animals is so horrendous, but I’m sure someone is about to tell me.
@Nu_Hero_0913@Valphrex It’s like….childishly funny. Is it “good”? Ehhhhh…. No, but sometimes (personally) I like to watch a bad movie or show once in a while when it’s “stupid funny”.
@haruinfigaruai@malikb_wav Oh totally. I don’t think the show is “good” or deserves any accolades. When I say it’s funny, I mean in a childish way.
But some of the labels being thrown at it are wildly off base.
I’m not sure whether @Polysesouvient sees this as a bad thing. Perhaps they’ve changed their position and now recognize that the root cause of mass casualty events is mental illness, not the firearm that may have been used. It seems that tragedies like these share similar underlying causes, and addressing those causes should be the real priority.
@GunOwnersofCana I’ve been a cop 18 years. Never arrested a PAL holder committing an offence with their firearm. Many of us have our own firearms that are now banned. The confiscation scheme is complete waste. PAL holders are not the problem.
Damn, bro.
Randomly going back to the mic on an unrelated question to also say, "gun owners, protect your guns. Simple as that. Don’t ever give them away," while standing like three feet from one of the Liberal cabinet's gun ban champions?
You gotta love it.
@hanno_sauer (Not all of us, at least in Canada, need convincing. It’s part of wellness to have these things reinforced, otherwise you have a service full of people who have given up on reform and people in general. But some still think that’s a sugarcoated view and “everything is bullshit.”
@hanno_sauer Correct and how I’ve always seen it — we feel this way sometimes, it’s undeniable, but I’ve always spoken “ahhh, but it’s not real the way we perceive it — we stare at a CAD screen all day, like the crime list of the day, of course it seems like the region is rife with crime.
