Tomorrow August 22nd is my 10 year Thyroid Cancer remission Birthday! It is going to be a long day at work as it’s Back-2-School. I’ll be at work 7:30-7:00. I be will pay with pain after. Yet I am still going to be so happy to be alive!! ❤️🥰❤️ #thyca #SchoolSLP

On our way home from an emotionally difficult week. Now to focus on rest and healing. We said goodbye to Charlie’s Mom Bobbi. Grateful we made it in time to be with her at the end. SILVER LINING: we can take more breaks to stretch our legs as we are not in a rush this time.

Update- been in ER all day and getting admitted for 3-4 days. Yup… always said I CAN NOT get COVID! Waiting to head up to a room.

SERIOUSLY?? WTF?? I rested & cleaned first 3 weeks of vacation & was set to start fun! BUT now I’m secluded in the house. Charlie tested positive for COVID. He is seriously sick. Thankfully I am negative so far. Yet staying away from parents & Charlie. Sigh,guess I’ll binge tv 🤪

Mission accomplished! I brutally cleaned out my closet! It took all day yet it now looks SO GOOD!! I bagged anything that did not fit and anything that doesn’t feel good against my skin. Ended up with multiple bags to donate 😁 Now? I hurt & resting by the tv. 🥰 #SchoolSLP

Day 1 of Summer Break. My body has decided to flare as I pushed hard the past few weeks. In a few days I should be able to move more again 😁 Silver Lining? I am resting and watching Season 3 of Sweet Tooth 🥰 It’s AWESOME!!

Well I finished my 28th year as a school SLP with 24 of them with OGSD! Even 2day I had Jr High students join me in the Bernal Game Club! Running this club has opened up a whole new addition to my teaching. These kids touched my heart. Yet… even so… I am ready for SUMMER!!

The 1st Annual End-Of-Year Bernal Game Club Party was a HUGE success! 41 gamers!! I remember the first day no one showed up & I was so sad 😭 I have seen them all gain responsibility, respect, language skills, and gaming skills. I am a PROUD Head Gamer #OGSD #bernalintermediate
