Gameplay loop, get in - do a contract - extract.
Combat, 90% gunplay - no overbearing abilities or unexpected surprises being thrown at you
Bots, hard to fight but rewarding
loot, takes up a lot of space, you have to make hard decisions about what to take - fair system tho
#Marathon blows my mind.
Here are the main "wins" that drew me in:
- No op characters or abilities (HUGE)
- not a squad every 5 feet
- you always feel like you have a chance to play the game (in pve and pvp scenarios)
- 90% of combat is gunplay
amazing
I wanted to hate the game so much but in all reality its just fun. I was an S tier hater of this game, its concept, classes, its approach to an extraction shooter. I even already did hate the game. But they gave it to us for FREE during the server slam. So I gave it an honest try
I complained about sf6 UI on day one.
Do we have to pay for ui's from older games?
Dont get me wrong, those are sick - but it should hopefully make people realize how bland sf6's ui really is
Not a big deal tho tbh
We need Destiny 2.5
Obviously, D3 would be awesome, but that's not going to happen. It would take years, Bungie doesn't have the resources, and the community doesn't have the patience.
So instead of doing more Edge of Fate and slowly kill the game, why not:
- Drop old consoles and significantly improve visuals
- Re-release most gear with Tiers
- Re-release Y1 Exotics with a random perk + catalysts
- Re-release old campaigns with that new loot
- bring back an improved weekly reset
- other stuff I can't brainstorm on my own
It'd be a proper Age of Triumph for D2.
And that was my armchair dev moment. Thank you for your time 😂
I want to play bl4 but I cannot. Few years ago I upgraded mainly for the sake of playing bl3 and even after my upgrade that game still stutters. I habe been through guide after guide trying to make these games perform well.
Just #fixthegame#borderlands4
9 hours with no crashes at all in Borderlands 4.
It turned out my Asus Motherboard was setting my 13900k to an Extreme profile. Which I'd never had issues with in ANY other game. Setting it down to Performance Profile solved all of my instability
a great small tip I always give if you're playing Borderlands 4 on PC is to buy a $2000 RTX 5090, then turn on DLSS to performance mode, turn on frame gen and you will go from 90FPS to 160FPS
