Gave a live motivational talk today to women across Ukraine. Even in the toughest of times, we have to get up again tomorrow morning and do the best we can for all the people that are counting on us and believe in us. That's why it's so important for us to be there for each other. To reach out to those who might just need an encouraging word, a helpful hand, or even just a loving hug. It's not that hard to care. It's not that hard to be kind. And it doesn't cost money to just let someone know you're there for them. I'm not asking you to reach out across the world to people in other countries. There's probably somebody right next to you whose whole day could be changed by a few simple words or a heartfelt hug. The smallest of gestures sometimes make the biggest difference.
I'm in Kazakhstan, enjoying the beautiful people and the equally beautiful mountains. Meeting with so many entrepreneurs as well as students, and speaking at the New Vision Forum and YPO Kazakhstan. Thank you to everyone in Almaty for once again treating me more like a family member than a visitor. I'll be back!
What a fun night with Adam Sandler. But his comedy is not what I admire most about this man. It's his loyalty. Sure, you may have hundreds or thousands of friends on social media, but the truth is there's really only a small number of people in the world that have your back and would be there for you no matter what. It's easy for everyone to love you when things are going great. But who would really be there when it all falls apart? When you need a friend but it's really inconvenient?
I love the way that Adam has always taken care of the people closest to him and made sure to be loyal to the people that matter to him. So do yourself a favor. Take a long hard look at the people around you and figure out who would really go to battle with you and for you. Then call those people right now and let them know how much you love and appreciate them.
Loyalty matters, because real friendships last forever, but money and fame can disappear in a minute. Make sure they know how much you love and appreciate them, and that you'll always be there for them too.
Children aren't born with hate. They're born with love. And somewhere along the way, that sometimes changes. People shooting people because they don't agree with them. School shootings. People stabbing people for no reason at all. BUT WE CAN CHANGE THIS IF WE ALL WORK TOGETHER.
it's true that we may not be able to save many of the broken people in the world today. But whoever you are and wherever you are, stop right now and go find the children. Talk to them about love. Teach them tolerance. Explain to them that we are ALLOWED TO DISAGREE. That without a diversity of opinions the world would never change or move forward. Make sure they know that the horrible things they are hearing about today do not represent all of humanity, and that this does not have to be their future if they learn to lead with love.
Yes, it's bad right now, but it's not hopeless. As long as I am alive, I will continue spending as much time as I can with our children to make sure they know that the future is in their hands and if they work together they can make things so much better. I hope you will too. Find a child and START NOW.
How do you enter a competitive market with a brand new product and win?
Beautiful day spent with the founder of AriZona Iced Tea, Don Vultaggio, the number 1 selling tea brand in America. Here's what he did, and what you need to do too:
DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT - In a world of 12 oz and 16 oz cans of tea, AriZona launched with a 24 oz can which they still sell.
PLAN FOR THE LIFETIME VALUE OF THE CUSTOMER, NOT JUST THE NEXT SALE - even though the can was bigger, Don not only matched the 99 cent price of his smaller competitors, but over 30 years later, the price is still just 99 cents. This created massive long-term customer loyalty.
STAND OUT - The choice of the name AriZona and the unique southwestern design and artwork (ideas from his artist wife Ilene!) bring a unique personality to the product that everyone notices.
In summary, be unique, think long term, and stand out. The winning formula.
I also learned this day that Don can drive a golf ball. I can only drive a golf cart. Oh well. ๐ But I never miss a chance to learn from my business heroes when I get the chance to be around them.
Did you know that old white guys can have fun too? ๐
A fun night with T-Pain, Ne-Yo, Daymond John, Flava Flav, Clinton Sparks, Rich the Kid, LiAngelo Ball, and more. It was the Global Gaming League (GGL) launch event in Las Vegas. As the Chairman of the GGL, I could not be more proud of our entire team and all the work they put in to make this league and this night possible.
Stay tuned for more big news from the GGL as we continue to develop the next generation of gaming entertainment.

I'm on the island of Tobago, in the country of Trinidad and Tobago, teaching entrepreneurs how to take their companies to the next level and beyond.
Entrepreneurship is a mindset. It's also a toolset. In every single country on the planet, there are smart, passionate people with great ideas and the determination to make things better. Geography doesn't matter to me. Attitude does. If you have the mindset to make change, we can teach you the toolset.
Not sure what country I will be in next, but I know for sure what kind of people I will find there.
Gave a talk today on building and scaling startups to entrepreneurs in Sudan. For safety reasons, we had to do it virtually. The situation in Sudan is so difficult right now. But life doesn't just stop. Life goes on. Families go on. And when times are difficult, the call to action for entrepreneurs is never louder. I have been in many dangerous situations in many unstable countries. Why? Because there is no "they". "They" are not going to help these families. WE are. Me. You. Us. We are all one big human family, and entrepreneurship is the path to making things better. It's the toolset of change. I know we can't help all the people we want to help in all the countries we work in (at the Global Entrepreneurship Network we are on the ground helping people in 200 countries). But we CAN teach people how to help themselves. That's what I'm doing today with the people in Sudan.
Huge thank you to 249Startups, U.S. Department of State (Sudan Affairs), and Global Entrepreneurship Network. The only way things get better in this world is when WE stand together and help the people who just can't help themselves right now. Making things better is everyone's responsibility.
