TIL that macOS has a known bug related to Spotlight that causes Finder to crash when you search for the word "cube" — which has been around for at least two years now (and continues to exist in the latest beta of Golden Gate).

Keep seeing horror stories about the Lincoln popping up, and can confirm from personal experience: CVN deployments to the Gulf suck even at the "best" of times. My first one was 8 months, which was miserable enough; I can't imagine dealing with one 10 months long (and counting).
