Finally gotten round to starting to repaint my 40K Kasrkin cosplay. It got a bit battered over the year so a new coat of black and added a little bit more colour.
I've also remade the bracers, which I'll be painting next and then adding a small LED light to it.
Finally began work this morning on my chainsword that I've been planning on doing for far too long now.
Hopefully I'll be able to find a 3d print file for the teeth otherwise it's gonna be a interesting endeavour to make them.
First event of the year and what a place to start!
The Funhammer Cosplay group were invited down to Warhammer World for the Open Day and what a day it was
Was fantastic to meet so many mew people from the group and to see WHW for the first time.
Can't wait for the next event
As with my normal great timing with projects, as I finished the Inquisitional Ksarkin cosplay GW released new models for the Ksarkin.
So, I thought I'd do the new hellgun as close to the models as I could. Just in time for the first event of the year next weekend!
The Algiers Phoenix heavy knife skin from Hunt: Showdown.
Was a fun little side project that I was asked to make for a friend who means a lot to the people who know him.
Had an amazing day with some fellow cosplayers from the Funhammer 40k cosplay group, so so much fun and can't wait to do so again.
Here's a few of the pictures, I'll set up a link to more soon.
A fair bit of progress over the past couple of weeks with the armour painting!
Rather happy with how it's all come out and with the lighting effect, just need to add some weathering to it and a visor for the helmet.
Cadia Stands!
Been working on a little sidearm for my Kasrkin cosplay over the weekend and I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along so far. Little bit more to do on it, so should be done very soon.
Remember, Cadia broke before the Guard!
