@mahaspeaking I definitely don't envy the corrupt. If any ting I feel sad for them. They can bring so much change in society yet they choose money over impact.
Just because there are a few terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami, Indian Mujahideen, Students Islamic Movement of India, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, Afghan Taliban, Haqqani Network, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan, Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, Al-Badr, Al-Umar Mujahideen, Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen, Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen, Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, Islamic State Jammu and Kashmir, Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent, Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh, Ansarullah Bangla Team, Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami Bangladesh, Neo-Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh, Islamic State, Al-Qaeda, Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, Al-Shabaab, Boko Haram, Islamic State West Africa Province, Islamic State Khorasan Province, Islamic State Sinai Province, Islamic State Central Africa Province, Islamic State East Asia, Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin, Ansar Dine, Katibat Macina, Al-Mourabitoun, Ansar al-Sharia, Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, Abu Sayyaf, Jemaah Islamiyah, Jemaah Ansharut Daulah, Mujahidin Indonesia Timur, Kumpulan Mujahidin Malaysia, Ansar al-Islam, Ansar al-Sunna, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, Khorasan Group, Jund al-Aqsa, Abdullah Azzam Brigades, Fatah al-Islam, Islamic Army of Aden-Abyan, Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Islamic Jihad Union, East Turkestan Islamic Movement, Turkistan Islamic Party, Caucasus Emirate, Riyad-us-Saliheen Brigade of Martyrs, Islamic International Peacekeeping Brigade, Ajnad al-Kavkaz, Armed Islamic Group, Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat, Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, Moroccan Islamic Combatant Group, Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Takfir wal-Hijra, Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, Maute Group, Khalifa Islamiyah Mindanao, Movement for Unity and Jihad in West Africa, Ansaru, Jundallah, and Jaish ul-Adl, it doesn't mean Muslims need any reform or introspection.
Lord Krishna in the Bhagwad Gita: when adharma rises, a warrior has the duty to fight. Showing misplaced empathy to adharma itself becomes adharma.
Arjuna mistakes his emotional attachment and fear of consequences for righteousness. Krishna points out that Arjuna is a warrior/guardian of society and a warrior’s cosmic duty is to protect society from chaos and injustice.
If Arjuna walks away, evil (adharma) wins by default. Society descends into lawlessness, and Arjuna becomes complicit in that ruin by failing to stop it. Krishna calls Arjuna's hesitation unmanly and dishonorable for a warrior.
TN just elected a CM whose biggest hits as an opposition politician were standing with protesters against an airport, a highway and a port.
His allies - the Communists and the VCK - the two outfits most ideologically allergic to private capital in Indian politics.
This is the team that now has to keep TN's industrial engine running.
TN's industrial engine is
- 9% of national manufacturing
- Rs 5.3 lakh crore in investments since 2016.
- 1.2 crore jobs.
Built across decades by AIADMK and DMK governments that, whatever else they did, stayed open for business.
Look at Vijay's own record:
- opposes Parandur airport - Rs 27,400 crore, desperately needed as Chennai's existing airport runs out of capacity.
- Allies oppose Salem Eight-Lane Highway, Kattupalli Port - the same opposition playbook that has kept TN's freight infrastructure stunted for a decade.
The Left, freshly humiliated in Kerala, has found in TVK an indirect lifeline to power - and the Left never offers a free lunch. Its price is reflexive opposition to land acquisition, labour reform and large private capital.
The VCK adds a grassroots ecosystem that sees industrial expansion as exploitation. Together, they are wired to do to Tamil Nadu what they helped do to the UPA at the Centre — stall.
Opposition politics rewards saying no but running an industrial state of TN's size can't be about saying no to projects. Vijay cannot speak the language of resistance and promise industrial transformation in the same breath.
Investors will tolerate corruption. They will even tolerate bureaucracy. They do not tolerate uncertainty.

Chennai | Speaking in Tamil Nadu Assembly, Leader of Opposition & DMK MLA, Udhayanidhi Stalin says, "Sanathanam, which seperated people, should be eradicated.".
Instead of leaving the 11 seats empty in the Chinnaswamy stadium, KSCA should make the MLAs sit in them to remind everyone of the apathy politicians show to the lives of common people.
Had the Karnataka MLAs spent time in the Vidhana Soudha discussing safety and security preparedness for IPL fans, it would have upheld the dignity of the House.
Instead, we saw MLAs pleading and even threatening for free tickets for themselves and their families.
This is not just poor priority. It exposes a deeper problem - a VIP mindset that sees public office as entitlement.
Why should any sports body owe MLAs anything? Why should elected representatives expect privileges denied to ordinary citizens?
Public office is not a privilege. It is a responsibility.
This culture must end.

@Ananth_IRAS And yet 22664 is only 8 coaches long. Runs into regret as soon as bookings open, especially on weekends. Can we please convert both MAS - MYS VBs to 20-coachers?
Wherein the said issues that have been highlighted on certain social media handles have been duly noted, this department recommends the issuance of a Show Cause notice to said social media platform, and also directs the Joint Secretary to have an interdepartmental memo drafted to fourteen ministries to consider a suggestion for setting up a committee to look into the issues, inter alia, regarding water safety, chlorine content, ducting, plumbing, and filtering, and draw up a proposal recommending further action, including the formation of a high-powered steering committee to monitor the speedy completion of the said committee...
Precis: "We neither know our job, nor care for it, but the system works, despite minor imperfections."
Honda cars in NA Engines are FAR FAR better than Maruti Cars in all aspects like safety, interiors quality and overall feel while driving.
Roads are better? Honda City is better than any car in the market right now with NA Engine. Roads are slightly bad? Nothing beats Honda Elevate in NA. Need a sober and comfortable car first car for family with graceful interiors? Amaze is the answer, it has proper smooth CVT AT too. Slight fuel economy difference should not bother you while getting a better vehicle.
All that Honda needs is a wider portfolio and slightly LOUD customers. Their customers are too classy and silently enjoy their vehicles.
MS enjoys the lead with better portfolio, slight better fuel economy, better reach and resale value factor.
Today, when we mark Kannada Rajyotsava, we celebrate the spirit of excellence and industrious nature that the people of Karnataka are synonymous with. We also celebrate the outstanding culture of Karnataka, reflected in its literature, art, music and more. The state embodies the spirit of progress rooted in wisdom. I pray that people of the state are happy and healthy.
To understand why medicine is so complex, let's make a crude simplifying assumption that there are only 100 biomarkers that are important (in reality there are vastly more). Let's also crudely assume each market is allowed only two values. That gives us 2^100 possibilities, which is about 10^30. That is vastly more than humans that ever lived. And this is with the extremely over-simplified model. We face a practical infinity of possibilities.
In reality, no two patients are ever really alike. No statistical model can give you very high confidence on how to treat. That is why AI can never treat patients, because human doctors exercise something called "clinical judgment".
That judgment is what enables a doctor to tell us "this is not a serious issue, get good sleep" vs "this definitely needs deeper investigation". That judgment is hard. Often they cannot even explain why they arrived at this but great doctors have that intuition. The entire Big Medicine is about systematically dismantling clinical judgment and convert doctors to mere "protocol pushers". Great doctors resist this.
Now on top of the measurable biomarkers, there is the unmeasurable factor called "mental state". Every good doctor knows a positive mental state in a patient leads to far better clinical outcomes. That is why good doctors practise compassionate medicine, not just numbers based medicine. I know an outstanding skin doctor in Chennai who prescribed me medicine for my very-itchy Eczema that I had endured for months, and he also told me "try to avoid stress and it may go away, and you may not even need the medicines I prescribed". I consciously reduced my stress level and the problem went away without medicine. That is a truly great doctor.
What does it have to do with autism-vaccine connection? As my crude numerical analysis showed, we have the problem of N=1 way too often in medicine and that is even more true for autism where each kid is truly unique, and that is why statistics are mostly useless and clinical judgment is mostly all we have. We cannot have broad sweeping mandates, definitely not broad vaccine mandates. Each doctor has to exercise their judgment with their patient. And they have to listen to the patient concerns first.
What Big Medicine is about is to try to reduce medicine to be a pure statistical science and it is not. Conditions like autism do not fit that paradigm at all.
That is the battle here. At its core it is not just an autism battle, it is a philosophy of medicine battle.
I pledge to keep fighting this fight because I nearly wanted to commit suicide at one one point in my life. Just this morning, a depressed parent approached me for advice and that started my X thread today.
I urge intelligent doctors to debate this philosophy of medicine issue. I will not respond to the arrogant "stay in your lane" types.
In today’s meeting with DCM Shri @DKShivakumar, I presented an Alternative Sustainable Mobility Action Plan, which is a holistic and comprehensive roadmap for decongesting Bengaluru. Sharing key points from the presentation here.

New Delhi–Patna 🚆
Distance: 1000 km
Fastest train: 11h 30m ⏱️
Avg speed: 87 km/h ⚡
Mumbai–Bengaluru 🚆
Distance: 1135 km
Fastest train: ~19h ⏱️

And the daily train – Udyan Express – is even far worse, takes nearly 22 hrs!
Shocking how rail connectivity between India’s tech & financial capital is this neglected… Even buses beat the trains here 😬
