Moving from Unity to Unreal would essentially require rebuilding the entire game from the ground up - which no one is about to do.

@ian_tune @owlvindr Well, at the time it was still pulling a couple million dollars a month and that update was along with a major story release - but yeah, they can definitely DO an update for Genshin's engine, it's just a matter of if they would bother given how much it would break.

They might be able to get some more out of it that could let them go through and update things in a way that's more feasible, though - so they could give them a manual spitshine.
