@EvaWiseman

It is performance, experience, commitment, further (job specific) learning, contribution to the knowledge base etc. that matters once you have been in a position a few years. (3/3)
@bphillipsonMP
A' levels are stepping stones which allow most UK universities to offer places to the most suitable applicants without the need to hold their own entrance exams. Similarly a degree is irrelevant within a few years of starting work, they get you your first job.(1/3)
Hard work matters. Results matter.
That's why the Education Secretary telling young people that the qualifications they got today won't be relevant in ten years isn't just plain wrong, it's downright rude.
She’s talking down England’s young people, and she needs to apologise.
@bphillipsonMP
It is often not the case, especially with degrees in the humanities, that an applicant for a position is a graduate than what subject they studied that is important to an employer There are exceptions to that such as theology & what I will call media studies.(2/3)

The 20th century is quite a notorious century in terms of such events. I list a few books below:
• The Rape of Nanking - Iris Chang
• If This is a Woman - Sarah Helm
• If This is a Man - Primo Levi
• Doctor's From Hell - Vivien Spitz

My suggestion should be to force them to appear in the dock. If there is a suggestion they will disrupt proceedings they should by ball gagged with their elbows bound behind their backs & their ankles shackled.
If they behave like animals treat them like animals.
‘My suggestion would have been to make sure there is a live link beamed into the cell.’
Ex-Justice Secretary Robert Buckland says Lucy Letby should be ‘made to face the consequences’ as she refuses to appear in court.
@BBCNews It's something that has been going on for years in the TV comedy Porridge Ronnie Barkers character confesses that his oldest child was conceived on the grave of Karl Marx. Indeed it is believed Mary Shelley lost her virginity on the gravestone of her mother in the early 1800's
Everyone associated with the @lionesses (players, coaches, support staff) should hold their heads high.
They have shown passion, inspiration & integrity and the UK are justly proud of their performance.
@GBNEWS Don't think you are sending Harry Markle back here, we don't want him. He used the Queen's death to sell his story of lies, distortions and half truths. The Royal Family and the UK are better off without such a traitor too his family & his country
@colin_shanahan9 @TryingTraveller@Scott14621389 If you going to try and defend a name by stating the origin it is a good idea to actually know the origin:
Shanahan -> Ó Seanacháin -> descendant of Seanach/Senach.
Saint Senach (550-610) Bishop of Armagh (598-610)

Until people can see the necessary infrastructure ready where they live & work and the price of electric cars coming down many will keep their petrol / diesel cars and will need mechanics to keep them in good condition...(2/2)
@Alethea_NNP
I disagree with your view that electric cars will drive mechanics out of business. The infrastrucure to support electric car use isn't in place, outside of London, and won't be for many years...(1/2)
@SeaRoses77 @christensen_mre @Dharghan_ Harry would have had to 'fly the box' to fly in a Longbow but the back seater is the pilot, the front seater (Harry) is the gunner!
The Longbow is the only helicopter than can fly inverted it's due to the onboard computers
@bbcsport@thehundred
Worcester sauce is only rarely mentioned in Yorkshire & widely dissaproved of. In Yorshire, the UK and now available worldwide there is @HendoRelish it's vegetarian & vegan certified and in my opinion it just tastes better.
@LaurenJames22 It doesn't matter if you are female or male, if you are playing in a local league match or the world cup final the passion, desire & intensity with which you represent your club, town or country deserves our respect and our thanks
@laurenjamess22
I believe many true football supporters understand your actions were momentary & born from frustation & intense public expectation. Your actions didnt cost England the game and the experience will make you a better footballer
@Highfieldoval @avelvetrobot @SkyNews In RAF Bomber Command alone 125,000 personnel served as aircrew of those 55,573 were killed in action. In other words 44.4% of aircrew were killed in action, If your figures are right that percentage drops significantly to 25% for African/American aircrew?
