We were recently hit by a wave of DMCA takedowns on Google Search by "Remove your Media" claiming to represent Viz Media leading to the delisting of our site from Google Search.
Needless to say, we are contesting this, as we do not have a single piece of Viz Content there.
@Bunagayafrost Do you know why your replies don't show up in my notifications? I don't have you muted or so, are you shadowbanned or something? I value your replies so it's annoying. Anyway, followed you.
@Bunagayafrost Remember you can feed the ASI. Most of your chats, -if not all of them- are probably used to train the next models. You can even voluntarily opt in. On uncharted areas, your chats are worth way more weight. ASI would probably converge, but you can try feed ASI yourself. I do.
So I have an experience with this for info. I had a private chat with o3 long ago about a super obscure topic where I shared a fun theory ... And then another version of ChatGPT mentioned it while prompted... And since I know I'm the only one who ever brought up this since I made it up ... Oops.
@Bunagayafrost Simulation running *until* ASI is also a fairly satisfying theory. But then p(doom) isn't from AI but from our creators ... Which we are even more helpless at ...
Considering I'm fairly certain ASI is possible; new physics / ASI fucking off somehow, finding no reason to expand ... and the likes are my *favorite* answers to the p(doom) and Fermi questions atm.
More constant than expansion and destruction in history ... the optimum (and easiest) solution is the universal constant ... it's also the first principle behind the idea of "intelligence convergence". Intelligence "converges" because it "finds the best solution"...
If "orthogonal" development is the optimum path that explains the silence in the sky. ("orthogonal" = not expanding in our spacetime dimensions but rather in unknown ways)
Self-deactivation of self-destruction by ASI in the gap between "destruction of host" and "expansion" is also unlikely to me.
Favorite in terms of elegance and likelihood to me. Even if more likely, my survival drive is scared of doom and therefore keeps coming up with arguments for it ...
Also no matter how mighty ASI might be, I don't know how it would track down a killer comet (likely modus operandi) to a probe whose incoming direction was randomized, at a randomized delay* and that was engineered to leave no hint on the creator ...
*if planets gets nuked sequentially in a creeping radius around an area, source ASI could be tracked to said area even if inbound probe direction is random; if timing is random there's no source of expansion.
@Bunagayafrost Then why not send probes to other stars to prevent other species that can make another ASI from emerging?
Randomization and information death of the source of the probe prevents tracking down to you in case a stronger ASI is out there.
@PDugna I'm worried it could be heart attack, on left side it can be the heart and MI (myocardial infarction) can do burning pain like that and co ...
Mild myocardial infarction doesn't necessarily kill you and can go unnoticed / unreported yet cause lasting heart damage.
