I’ve been working on AdaEngine, an open-source game engine and app framework written in Swift, and I’ve just released 0.1.0.
The idea behind AdaEngine is to explore what a modern game engine could look like if it was built around Swift from the start.

Best time, when you can use your own written software for your work. Sloppy can help you to build your apps, create tasks, configure agentic flow, work with telegram, web, terminal and soon - macOS/Windows
I've built my own SwiftUI framework, natively rendered in Metal. Now I'm developing a native Windows app using this framework. It's been fascinating to go from zero to two platforms - iOS and Windows, Android soooon. Now I'm ready to share some of my most interesting insights.
The last few years I have investigated my time to develop @ada_engine in Swift. And now, I’m feeling happy when creating mobile and desktop apps (for macOS and Windows) using swift ui like syntax. The first app that I currently build is a @SloppyCrew client that uses my own AdaUI
I want to teach my 7y.o. daughter about Vibe Coding. She has smashed Minecraft and thinks about creating add-ons all day. Time to make dreams come true.
I will set up @SloppyCrew for her via Claude ACP. Time to make her happier.

There is a big problem of all modern tools, because you lose control! All smart algorithms trying make your life easier, but you cannot control this build system and in a huge projects it’s looks like a paper house!
Current version of Apple swift compiler is not predictable when you need import a C/C++ dependency in your SPM project. You will get a lot of problems with incompatible interface or missed symbols, because your C/C++ code will build on top of Objc compiler!
And I really hate that. Every day I think about drop SPM support and go forward with premake or any other build tool, instead of native, non controllable tool…
i’m done!
