There is great power in fasting.

Whenever you fast and pray to God, asking Him for something, trust that He hears you. He may answer in a way you expect, or He may answer in His own way and in His perfect timing. But I tell you, my dear friends, when you fast, the Holy Spirit can reveal so many things within you that you need to work on.

There is power in fasting.

If you are asking God for something and you feel like it has been delayed, fast and pray about it. But remember, you must come before God with a sincere heart. You cannot come to God while holding on to unforgiveness and bitterness. You cannot knowingly continue in sin while refusing to repent. He is a righteous God, so before you come into His presence, seek His mercy.

His mercy and faithfulness are everlasting.

Jesus loves us so much, and He invites us to bring our requests to God in His name. Jesus said:

“Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.”
— John 16:24

When you ask, ask in faith, according to God’s will, and trust Him with the outcome.

God knows our troubles. He knows our weaknesses. He knows the areas where we are not doing well.

Jesus said:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28

God is the final answer to every problem and challenge we face. God is our refuge, our strength, and our help.

Search within yourself, deep down in your soul. Ask yourself:

What am I doing that does not please God?

What am I doing that does not reflect God’s image in my life?

Is it lying?

Is it stealing?

Is it gossiping?

Is it sexual immorality?

Is it fornication?

Yes, Jesus has paid the price for you. But that does not mean you should take His sacrifice for granted. We grieve the Holy Spirit when we continue in things that God has called us away from, even when the world tells us they are “normal.”

Seek the mercy of God. He is rich in mercy. He is rich in love. His love endures forever.

So, my dear friends, forgive those who have wronged you. Ask those whom you have wronged for forgiveness.

Forgiving someone does not mean what they did was right. But because of the love of God and the mercy He has shown you, you have to let go of grudges. You have to let go of bitterness. You have to let go of the things that do not reflect the image of Christ in your life.

Today, I want you to ask yourself:

What is making me feel like my prayers are not being answered by God?

What is making me feel like God does not love me?

What is that lie that Satan is whispering into my heart?

Rebuke that lie, because the devil is a liar.

You are a temple of God.

The Bible says:

“Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?”
— 1 Corinthians 3:16

Think about that.

You are a temple where the Spirit of God dwells.

But sometimes, we fail to realize who we are because the enemy plants lies, temptations, bitterness, fear, and other things in our hearts.

Jesus spoke about this in Matthew 13, in the parable of the weeds. He said that an enemy came at night and sowed weeds among the good seed.

Do not allow the enemy to deceive you.

The Bible says:

“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
— James 4:7

Resist every lie that tells you God does not love you.

Resist every temptation that pulls you away from God.

Bring your thoughts, your heart, your weaknesses, and your struggles before God.

Sometimes, we don’t realize how much God wants to do in our lives because we have not surrendered those areas to Him.

So I want to tell us today:

Seek the mercy of God.

Ask God to help you.

Repent where you need to repent.

Forgive where you need to forgive.

Surrender what you need to surrender.

And then thank God for helping you. 😊❤️✝️

His mercy is greater than our weaknesses.

His love endures forever.

Pastor Paul Enenche was in Uganda, travelled back to Nigeria, and is now ministering at Apostle Michael Orokpo’s meeting.

Honestly, I don't understand where these ministers get the energy! 😂

The travelling alone is something else. Different countries, different time zones, flights, little rest—and they still show up looking fresh, full of strength, and ready to minister to people.

There is a grace for the assignment.

We may see the stage, the microphones, the crowds and the powerful ministrations, but there is a price of labour behind it that many people never see.

May the Lord continually strengthen every man and woman of God who is labouring for the Kingdom.

May their bodies be strengthened, may their families be preserved, may their travels be safe, and may they never minister from an empty spiritual reservoir.

May their labour of love never be in vain.

May they finish their race well and fulfil everything God has committed into their hands.

One morning in February 2019, a few months after closing our yoghurt factory at Navy Town, I was searching desperately for solutions and answers on how to make the yoghurt visible.

Then my mind went to Ayo, my neighbour.

He had shawarma shop close to our house, and I had watched him upgrading the shop of recent.

I thought:
“What if I ask him to allow me to display our yoghurt in his shop, alongside his drinks? At least our yoghurt would have somewhere people could see and buy it.”

It was around 6:30 a.m.

I called him and explained my idea.
He agreed.

Then, almost casually, he asked:
“Nduka, is that all? Is there anything else you need from me?”

Something inside me said:
Tell him you want the shop.

So I asked:
“Can you give me the shop? Can I buy it from you?”

His response surprised me:
“Okay, you can have it.”

The following day, we started negotiating the takeover. Within a few weeks, we took possession.

And just like that, our yoghurt had a shop. Our business had a home.

We later do the opening ceremony by April, 2019.

Looking back now, what strikes me is that the opportunity didn't arrive with noise. It came as a simple thought in the quiet of the morning.

But the thought alone would have changed nothing.

I made the call.

Sometimes the idea that changes your life doesn't look spectacular when it first comes.

Make the call.
Ask the question.
Send the proposal.
Visit the person.
Take the first step.

Listen to the voice within—but most importantly, TAKE ACTION.

Now they have a problem with Christians being in the stadium praying.

We have never bothered them when they fill clubs and stadiums to watch secular artists performing half-naked. We have never attacked them for spending money on tickets, travelling for concerts, or screaming themselves hoarse for the “Red Devils.”

They give their money, time, emotions and loyalty to what they love.

They worship what they do not know.

But now Christians gather in a stadium to pray, worship Jesus and hear the Word, and suddenly we are “brainwashed,” “in bondage,” and suffering from “slave mentality.”

Satan, you are a shameless liar.

The hypocrisy is obvious.

You can fill a stadium for entertainment, but Christians cannot fill the same stadium to seek God?

You can shout for your club, but Christians cannot shout the name of Jesus?

You can spend money on what entertains you, but Christians cannot spend money gathering to worship their God?

Christians, WAKE UP!

Stop being ashamed of gathering. Stop seeking the world’s approval.

We are not brainwashed because we pray.

We are not in bondage because we worship Jesus.

We know whom we have believed.

Let them talk. We will pray. We will worship. We will preach Christ. JESUS CHRIST IS LORD.
