Most people will never play competitively. That's true for any casual-first game. I estimate GO has 8-12M DAU, 18-25M WAU, & 30-50M MAU. If only 5% of 10M DAU plays GBL, that's still 500k players. If a marketing push takes GBL player numbers from 5% (500k) daily to 8% (800k), which would mean a 60% overall increase in total daily players, I'd say that would be worth it.

There's also been no concrete effort in 8 years to monetize PvP in GO (ex. Battle passes, paid events, purchasable items for PvP Pokemon, etc.) so the game has explored exactly 0% of its monetary potential for battlers. Lack of signal (i.e. People don't pay to battle because there's no way to do so) does not equal lack of potential.

@BillaVGC I try to always have the ++ going while driving. Most days I try to hand-catch during my daily incense, and I always hand-catch during comm days and stardust events.

I'd say the split is 60% ++ and 40% hand catching, but during events it's 20%++ and 80% by hand

@TonyTMPokemon1 Excel works great! I use google sheets because it updates in the cloud and you can just open the app

I have an automatic calendar reminder each Monday to update the # so I don't forget
