@ChosenUn0__@Islandtrinigyal Also, the NFLPA fought for all these guarantees these players have now and you can’t have it both ways. You can’t be making more money than ever but be less willing to fight through injury! Again, my opinion. Not shared by all!
Never thought I’d be here while Lamar was the Ravens QB, but it’s time to draft a QB. Talent and ability undeniable, but his hypersensitivity to injury, unwillingness to speak about it, and protection from the org. are just insane. Could have also worked on extension while out!
@ChosenUn0__@Islandtrinigyal I get that stance and yall aren’t wrong. Just not the way I feel about it. I watched Ray rush back from a torn triceps to make a last run, Ed play with a nerve impingement in his neck for the last half of his career that could have paralyzed him. They set the tone!
@ChosenUn0__@Islandtrinigyal You are correct they don’t owe us that at all. But I’ve watched guys in the past and current play through worse injuries. Shit man there’s plenty in our own organization!
@ChosenUn0__@Islandtrinigyal Also, has anyone come out and said it’s the deltoid or just another guess that everyone is throwing around. We aren’t privy to the MRI results and that’s the only imaging that would show this injury. It can still be taped up and played on. You aren’t going to be 100% in the NFL
@Islandtrinigyal@ChosenUn0__ But still love ya ma’am and it’s always a pleasure talking to ya. Hope all is well, the Ravens don’t vex you, and Lamar comes back, SHUTS ME THE FUCK UP, Wins the Ship, and signs a new deal!
@Islandtrinigyal@ChosenUn0__ I’d love to be a fly on the wall and know why the communication between coach(multiple now)and player are so off. I would ASSUME the Dr’s are informing the coaching staff of said diagnosis, but it is ultimately on the player and how they feel. If Lamar feels off, he doesn’t play.
@Islandtrinigyal@ChosenUn0__ I understand that and that’s valid. I’m not crashing out at all. I’ve been pretty consistent about these two specific aspects for a couple years!
@Islandtrinigyal@ChosenUn0__ Nobody can sway the way I think I promise you that. I’d like the way 1) he handles business with the org. 2) and handles injury to be different. I’m watching guys all over the league and on our team fight through injury to play. Lamar just seems to need to be 100%.
@Blue8E I ain’t on here for that! Never have been. Just an opinion I’ve had for a while. Goes against the masses so it will get push back. Still love the guy at the end of the day.
@Islandtrinigyal@ChosenUn0__ I don’t hold him to a different standard at all ma’am. I think he has his own standard. In the NFL nobody is 100% after week 1. I just have seen injuries others play with keep him out multiple weeks. Still love the guy, I just want change in a couple ways.
@jmi1323 Why because you say so? Having a difference of opinion that goes against the norm does not mean anything other than I stated. Don’t like the way he handles injuries or business! That’s my take. I’ll stay on the side of the Ravens as a WHOLE!
@Twillmania3 I know what we have and I know how important Lamar is to that equation. It’s where the frustration lies for me. Again, I’d still choose Lamar the player over any QB in the NFL, I’d just like him to change how he handles a couple things. Will it ever happen? Maybe not.
@Pass_The_Mike_@Pass_The_Mike_ you one of the the actual people on here I listen too and there is validity behind what you say. I understand what happens when you go against the Lamar masses and it’s ok. I just don’t love the way 1)he handles business(contract) 2) injuries.
