Dearest mother —
The battleground has called for my glorious return. I’m thrilled to say, I shall heed that call.
I have reenlisted.
While my sidearm is permanently holstered — I shall help train other young men to be great soldiers. Please send care packages of squirrel oil and skunk cakes to our basecamp at Stanford. I love you.

Obsessed with this guy on the US men's gymnastics team who's only job is pommel horse, so he just sits there until he's activated like a sleeper agent, whips off his glasses like Clark Kent and does a pommel horse routine that helps deliver the team its first medal in 16 years.
Ace Hardware is the best retail business in America. It’s the perfect combination of large-company efficiency with small-business entrepreneurship.
Not only are most stores owned by local operators, the parent company itself operates as a coop owned by the retailers. The local operators know that their cost structure is disadvantaged compared to the big-box operators (Lowe’s and Home Depot), so they compete based on strong customer service and active community involvement.
Additionally, because the stores are smaller, they’re able to be situated closer to residential neighborhoods, and they’re much better integrated into the surrounding areas. In many areas, you can drive to the local Ace, get out of your car, ask a clerk to find you an item, pay, and be back on the road in less time than it takes you to park and walk across the 20-acre parking lot at Home Depot.
We need more companies like Ace Hardware in America, and we all—including myself—should do a better job of supporting them.
“Weak city” “Colts haven’t beaten anyone” “product of their schedule”
The Indy disrespect is loud this week. When the dust settles and the #Colts make it to the playoffs, let em have it. #ForTheShoe
