Again, these are old alleged rumors from when the system was being developed. These came around the same time as the "triple phase" banner rumors.

Hopefully we get more details soon.

We cannot confirm this ourselves, which is why I'm posting here instead of the main account, but one of the very old (pre-4.0) rumors about this banner system is that it's regional.

For instance, a Mondstadt banner would have characters like Eula, Klee, Albedo in the pool.

Still not a fan of the base design (the execution of his colour palette feels muddled), but hell if he doesn't have some of the best animations in the game.
