@policytensor Another war was inevitable, but if Iran was manufacturing drones and missiles faster than we were manufacturing interceptors, and had at least some ability to bring in oil profits to buy from China, isn't there an argument that they at least jumped the gun?
@burgessev Not really the most deeply vicious personal attack someone could levy. Empty suit is pretty typical language, and the AIPAC funding is just straightforwardly true.
@Telos_of_War I think the logic is more that the use of strategic nukes would become credible enough that Ukraine would have no choice but to surrender enough territory to satisfy Russian demands. Maybe it's idiotic, but the idea isn't that a tacnuke wins the war on the battlefield.
@policytensor He's brought it up before, so I don't think it was 100% fake, I think he's genuinely attracted to the idea. It's just so clearly insane and destructive that it'll never happen, like invading Greenland.
@clashreport Talk about ingratitude, Israel sucks us into an idiotic war on their behalf and then says hey can you maybe park your planes somewhere else?
@FaytuksNetwork Calling Mashhad a hardline stronghold isn't really doing it justice. There are obviously regime supporters there, but it's the second biggest city in the country, fortunate enough to mostly avoid bombing so far because of geography. A lot of protesters were killed there.
@Abc25836325 In theory that doesn't matter so much, because Netanyahu was indicted despite Israel not being a signatory. But Iran's parliament never ratified its signature either, so the ICC doesn't have jurisdiction in Iran.
