@StoneAgeGWOT In Europe there is the Erasmus Programm where it is encouraged and facilitated to study abroad in other European countries for one or two semesters, the goal being the break up of prejudices.
It'd be awesome to have something like this between Europe and the US.

Also the Germans christianized in 990 and threw of that yoke in 1525 again.
