People are still looking at this so lig dom an Sionnach app a cur chun cinn (let me promote the Sionnach app) and get your daily Gaeilge in, you can learn in the 3 major dialects and it's for beginners to fluent level, is brea liom é agus is níos fearr é ná Duolingo ✨
@Nettieyettie@metsswift I call those ones Mr Freeze but also call them ice lollies, I call anything that's ice and juice an ice lolly/pop, and anything icy with cream in it an ice cream, I know there's regional terms as well and as a species we collectively argue over what's what 😂
Catch me throwing a half tablespoon of salt onto my chips but worrying drinking a small amount in water will kill me
I love being mentally ill and poorly raised
I wonder did the people who demonised sugar globally ever consider that one day a man would look up how to make an electrolyte drink, see the WHO says put 6 teaspoons of sugar in 1ltr of water, and proceed not to do that because it seems like an unhealthy amount of sugar?
As for the folks who demonised salt: a half teaspoon as per the WHO also feels dangerous to me now, thanks 💀
Is this anxiety fucking with me?
I typically drink sugarless drinks so idk anymore
@flying_cabbage I hope so! I may need cooler weather but I do love how bright and nice everything is, so I'd like to go out and enjoy it without wondering if I'm about to keel over with the chest issues 😂😂
@thejournal_ie I think it's nice but not necessary, especially in secondary school where there're many teachers and possibly kids in different years, which potentially multiplies the total of educators. Primary though? Have the wee one make a present, or give them a candle/box of chocolates.
@flying_cabbage I was absolutely sick of rain and cold but I take medication that messes with my temperature regulation and inhibits the ability to sweat, so I'm hiding away in the dark until this is over, can't win, happy for everyone else tho 😂
@rtenews Even if I spend over 150, the books still come in separate orders, so that means €3 a go because the UK is not in the EU and thus the fee is applied. We already had ridiculous custom fees. I paid €80 for 5 figures from Japan valued at several hundred weeks ago ffs
@rtenews It's pure robbery and greed. Does it apply to retailers or is it just the lay person being wrung out for this? Will the local bookstore be charged €60 if I go to them and order 20 books like I do online? Bc I need ones in English and many I want aren't available in this country.
My brother took me to a place I love yesterday and my friend took me to another place I love today, and on the drive home a thought hit me and I asked her if I was being put down tomorrow
