A sporting life, a veteran now but decent innings. Run Clubsport since 1983 so if it's cricket, hockey, bowls, garment decoration or whatever I'm your man.
@TekelTowers Eriksson's no worse nor any better than anyone else in the team just now but is getting blamed for everything. Exactly what mistakes yesterday? Did you catch Carson AWOL at the other end? What about wee Beehich, twice this week he's been nailed to the ground.
That BBC Scotland coverage of Forfar v Dundee United last night was a shambles. If I were Leanne Crichton, the one saving grace, I'd be embarrassed to be part of that crew. They are needing some professionals through the door.
@GiffordDs@PGATOUR Talk about seeds getting blown away. Only remaining are Rahm (3rd) and Fleetwood (21st) then next highest seed is 30th. 27 of the top 29 seeds gone! Door open for a Scotsman perhaps, c'mon Robert McIntyre!
The beautiful game's got ugly. A dozen square passes across the halfway line, probing for an opening but always going backwards, eventually goes to the goalie who lumps it up the park. Is it to do with no crowds? The goalie gets more passes in a game than the forwards. Eyes bleed
John Beaton, 4th official at United v Hibs y'day, must be baffled. On Wednesday v St Mirren he adjudged Shankland's rear armpit 'handball' to be a penalty. An absolute stinker. But had just seen Gavin Duncan ignoring Doig's blatant flick with the hand away from the Hibs goal.
@JimSpenceDundee@JamieGlackin1 Agreed. If he won the last time he'll win this time. One way or another. And legality is a non-runner. Footnote - 350 million population & T & B are the best they can come up with?
Celtic on Dec 20 will doubtless acheive the 'quadruple treble'. The two Dundee senior clubs have won a combined total of 10 majors in 238 years of trying, United 5 in 111 years, Dundee 5 in 127 years. Celtic in 234 seasons fewer will then have won two more! Wow! Must try harder!
@Chris_Jack89 hi Chris nice article re Lee McCulloch. He's joined the Terrors, not the Arabs. The latter are the fans, the former the team (tho it's not much used these days :()
