Overwhelmed by reading the amazing notes and cards from Spider Class. I can’t thank you enough for your kind words and thoughtful gifts. I am truly lucky to have taught such a wonderful class and have loved watching them grow into the amazing humans they are today. Enjoy Summer!
We had the BEST time at Duxford! Some of us now even want to be pilots! Here’s a picture of Miss Burnford’s favourite plane- The BlackBird, the worlds fastest air breathing plane. Built for stealth and speed,it was a spy plane in the 1960s. It can outrun a missle! Now that’s cool!
We’ve been innovating our Baba Yaga stories today. There were post-it notes everywhere- it was lovely to see the children so engaged in their English. Can’t wait for the end results! #talkforwriting#T4W@TalkforWriting
We have had THE BEST week learning about our new topic, The Titanic! The children have been so engaged learning all about the disaster and how it occurred. We have even had a chance to act in role and write postcards from the Titanic and first and third class passengers!!
The final touches to your child’s batik bag are in progress. They are currently being soaked to remove the glue which should leave some lovely patterns. Come back at the end of the week to see the finished products! #halftermfun#superspiders#spiceworld#batik
We are right in the middle of writing our Quest stories, can’t wait to see how the characters solve their final obstacles! Ask your child all about the problems their character has faced along their journey..
As part of #MentalHealthWeek we have been exploring the effects of sleep on our mental health. We have had some lovely discussions about how lack of sleep influences our mood, ability to learn and even helps our brains grow! #sleepisimportant@Place2Be
So delighted with all of my Super Spiders in the 'Lights, Camel, Action' performance today, they did amazingly!! One very VERY proud teacher right here!
@SpiderIOE loved having the Dragon Hunter's visit last week.We are so glad to hear fluffy returned safely. Our missing Dragon posters MUST have been the reason!
