@_overdreaming_ @KAD_ProductionZ Originally I was gonna make it darker but I thought about what the OP said and they're right. It's a different kind of horror when you're having a nice hike on a sunny day, then you turn around and death is staring straight at you. It's like violating that sense of safety.

Then as for Beako, yeah a contract would save him from posession but he isn't contracted with her at this point of the story. That happens later in season 2/arc 4.
