Spieth Shots

I tweet during Jordan Spieth's rounds and try to follow each shot. I have one simple mission: to track Jordan Spieth's quest for golf greatness. 🍺👍👊🤙

And JORDAN SPIETH WINS THE BRITISH OPEN! 3/4 LEGS OF THE GRAND SLAM COMPLETE! #SummerOfSpieth

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

@stackhouse33 Did he just four-putt from 5 feet?

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

@GCTigerTracker Think TW and Phil have a Nassau going on? That’s quite a choke from Phil if so 👀

[TonyWendice @tonywendice1954]

@debrafleck @SpiethShots congrats Justin! 2nd nicest guy on tour.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Leishman makes bogey, giving Spieth solo second. There's his first lucky break of the day. Congrats to Justin Thomas! Brilliant round.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

JT is greenside on the short grass, tough chip but should make par still. Only needs double bogey or better, so pretty much locked up.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Leishman makes a huge mistake on his second, might be in the hazard. That would be a massive break for Spieth. Oh well either way.

[TonyWendice @tonywendice1954]

@SpiethShots time to turn off the TV I think.

[dubs @debrafleck]

@tonywendice1954 @SpiethShots Didn't get the breaks the back nine.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Two-putt bogey puts him at -14, possibly losing his runner-up finish to Leishman. That'll be costly if so.

[TonyWendice @tonywendice1954]

@SpiethShots Johnny Miller is always right 😘 he complained yesterday about Cantlay seeking relief from same sprinkler.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Jordan is making a MESS on 18 right now. Super easy scoring hole and he's putting for par from like 50 feet.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

It actually reminded me of a few times Tiger did the same and Johnny Miller threw little tantrums about it. https://t.co/ym5LhTOO74

[TonyWendice @tonywendice1954]

@SpiethShots that's the kind of relief where Johnny Miller would say "just play the ball."

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Another brutal break with a horrible lie behind a lip in the sand trap. One guy getting no breaks, the other getting every break.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Thomas is on the green on 17, Spieth in the fairway on 18. Leishman in trouble on 17. It's looking like a JT-1, Spieth-2, Leishman-3 finish.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Positive vibes 👍👊🤙 https://t.co/QWqryZDIAn

@SpiethShots Jordan is going to end up winning the cup in the end. He is too close two weeks in a row!

[PGA Tour @PGATour]

"There's no way that doesn't break."

#QuickHits

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

That's gotta drop. What a tough break. Ball rolls over the right edge of the cup. Seriously, how does that not go in.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Spieth has a 10-footer for birdie on 17. Big putt.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

I mean, can't discredit this. Pretty amazing. https://t.co/ggxFiCHqqA

[Jason Sobel @JasonSobelGolf]

Justin Thomas is now 19-for-20 in scrambling this week. That's some really good chipping. And some really good putting. Gotta have both.

[Spieth Shots @SpiethShots]

Stance being on a sprinkler head is a controversial drop but something every player takes advantage of. JT made par after a nice putt.
