This is crazy, a jailbroken PS5 can now play original PS2 game discs directly, without needing to copy the games to digital files first.

Modders have found a way to use the PS5’s disc drive to read original PS2 DVDs and run the games through an emulator.

But they’re not stopping there. Modders are also working on getting original PS3 discs to work on the PS5

So Sony could have made this possible years ago, but they never did, they preferred to keep charging users for useless remakes.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. has now received a 100% complete static recompilation, thanks to the Yakumo project.

The game has been fully recompiled into native code rather than relying on an emulator or JIT recompilation.

After months of work, the Luma mod for Metaphor: ReFantazio is done!

This is from Idarion, the same talented modder that brought you the Persona 5 mod.

Gamers have been asking for this since release, given the game completely lacked TAA and HDR support.

The mod feature set is wide and takes care of the most lacking graphical aspects of the game:
- DLSS & FSR (fixes the extremely aliased and shimmery)
- HDR support and improved SDR
- Fixed broken bloom
- Improved performance by adding shadow map frustum culling
