This evening, the Governor and Professor Nimmo hosted a dinner in support of Queensland University Chancellors, with Her Excellency thanking them for their dedication in overseeing institutions that contribute so vitally to our State’s, and our country’s, fortunes.
The Vice-Regal couple have completed their 6 day visit to the Cape York Peninsula, traveling just over 1000kms mostly by road, visiting communities including Napranum, Mapoon, Lockhart River, Aurukun and Weipa Town Authority.
