@SocialSparkleUK I remember an insensitive HV telling her he’d have to go back to hospital because he was looking v jaundiced. It was the light from our skylight! My wife was traumatised and called me up in tears. I came home and put baby in normal lighting and all was well again #babyhour

@SocialSparkleUK I don’t remember my wife being down about it - she expected her body to change and it did. I reassured plenty. There were plenty of ‘sigh, I’ll never have that waist again’ moments, but that’s natural. So many changes but it’s okay to consider the physical ones too. #babyhour

@SocialSparkleUK OMG. I remember bringing her cups of tea, books, even a sandwich once. I did explain to her the high moisture factor of a bathroom would play havoc with the bread, but did she listen? #babyhour

@SocialSparkleUK My wife bathed. I mean, she could have bathed at a national level, she took so many baths during pregnancy. We have since moved to a water-metered property and let me tell you, we are having no more babies for the water bills alone! #babyhour
