Mon, 5pm: at Haenertsberg, took 11hrs 20min, with tough 960m ascent into the town. 130km today, total 2 100m ascent. on the way back home.

4.30pm, Sun: 100km in 10 hrs, 2 100m ascent, now at Mayesi Lodge, no baobabs today, average 9,5kph today, 11.7kph yest. in heart of Venda.

9.13, Sun: At Sacred Lake, Fundudzi in Venda. Beautiful lake, tale of croc and snake in lake, but can swim in it.

5,30pm, Sat: did 110km in 9hrs, now at Camp Mankele, great place. altitude rise 300m. lots of baobabs.
