@BrendaF289 Wow thanks for sharing Brenda. Did you take this photo/video? If so, may we have permission to share this content on The Weather Network, our Pelmorex Corp. properties and partners, with onscreen credit to you?
Wow I have followed you for a long time. I am sad that you have fallen for the rhetoric. Not sure what pac is paying you for this tweet however I donβt need you in my social media life. SAD
As the former U.S. Ambassador to Canada, I've had the privilege of working closely with President Joe Biden and witnessing his leadership firsthand. From being sworn in by then-Vice President Biden to accompanying him on diplomatic missions, I can confirm his legendary dedication, competency and compassion.
While I deeply respect President Biden and acknowledge his significant accomplishments, recent events have raised concerns about his ability to effectively campaign for and serve another term. The presidential debate was particularly troubling, as it highlighted challenges in articulating his vision for our country and countering his opponent's inaccurate rhetoric.
The threat posed by a potential Trump presidency to our democratic institutions is real and cannot be understated. However, it's become evident that many Americans, while wary of Trump, are not convinced that Biden is the most effective candidate to prevent his return to office.
To ensure the best chance of maintaining Democratic control of the White House and Congress, we must consider alternative candidates for the 2024 presidential race. While Vice President Harris deserves respect, we should avoid automatically designating her as the nominee without a fair and robust selection process.
The Democratic Party boasts a wealth of talented individuals who could potentially lead us into the future. I propose a series of town halls, debates, and interviews to showcase these candidates, culminating in a convention in Chicago to select our nominee.
Let me be clear: I will support the eventual Democratic nominee, whether it's Joe Biden or another candidate, given the high stakes of this election. However, we owe it to the American people to present the strongest possible candidate to lead us forward and safeguard our democracy.
And so it begins! 36 years after the original, finally doing a full update to "The Wealthy Barber." Finished the outline this morning. Still working on the same card table as 1988! I think you'll really enjoy the changes (yes, I'm biased). Note the BlackBerry!
