Here’s the gripe.

Activision doesn’t deserve anything. Over the years, they have lied, manipulated & borderline committed fraud on multiple fronts. This transcends “just skins”.

Here’s a list off the top of my head on why people are all brainwashed to trust CoD at all. Stop rewarding this behavior.

👉🏻MW19: Spec Ops was an abandoned gamemode that did not function. To this day, it is still unplayable. IW tried to ship the game with no red dots on the mini map.

👉🏻Cold War: A rushed title that came out during the window of time where people were debating if COVID was going to be something that would wipe out a significant portion of humanity. ATVI hailed the developers as some sort of “brave” for this in marketing.

👉🏻Vanguard: The campaign was an insult to the brave men and women who risked their lives in WW2. Zombies was a rushed, unfinished mess and a meme. The Warzone integration was so bad, people on Xbox One/PS4 could not play the game for months. It was made unplayable with low fps and constant crashes. Servers crashed often.

👉🏻CoD MWII: Infinity Ward took everything that made MW19 special and made it their mission to slow the game down to a crawl, and make everything super tactical. The community did not want this, and they actively gaslit the community into thinking their widespread opinions were wrong. WZ2 was released - finished, but cost a significant amount of the playerbase to leave.

👉🏻COD MWIIII: The campaign was a rushed mess, Zombies was shoehorned into Warzone just so they could market the equivalent of a MW2 movement update into a game. It is rumored that they WERE going to overhaul MW2 mid-cycle, but ATVI was afraid it would mean nobody would buy MW3. They also abandoned the returned “War” mode after 2 seasons.

👉🏻COD BO7: The campaign is always online. Runs like shit. Is co-op. Quite literally a meme.

Here’s some more!

👉🏻Activision flat out denied and refused to talk about SBMM for years. They gaslit creators until they were recently forced to admit it existed due to a declining playerbase.

👉🏻In MW2, Vanguard, BO6 and more, the original marketing mentioned words like “grounded, realism, faithful” when mentioning the game. We then got the most wacky skins because ATVI is greedy and the consumers cannot control their spending. Bonus points to Blackcell holders.

👉🏻Activision has on many occasions laid off entire QA teams. Their PR/HR teams also look at the community as cattle. Look at the marketing. Its just ignore the lengthy history of under delivering/lying, then get you to move onto the next game.

👉🏻Shall I bring up the fact ATVI was sued for mass sexual harassment, and even betrayed the US and licked the boot of China because an esports player said “free hong kong”?

At this point, justifiably, CoD is like this ex girlfriend I am butthurt over. I’m done with these cycles, I’m done with the marketing, the deception etc.

But man, you reap what you sow. The community of helpless addicts just cannot stop buying this stuff. Activision gets their $70 sale from you every year, and the rest of you complain while buying Blackcell 6 times a year.

I’m tired of the routine. You have years of proof, anti-consumer practices, abandonment of the products you paid for - yet all it takes is some funny tweets and flights for content creators to sell it.

Calling all Internet sleuths I’m
in desperate need of help. One time (I believe in 2020) an artist (I think a streamer) posted something like “post your pets and I’ll draw them” and I posted this picture of swift. The next day they posted like a white page with black sketches of random peoples pets they drew and swifts drawing was on that page and it was one of my favorite drawings of swift. I would like it get it tattooed but I can’t find it anywhere (I thought it was daph but she doesn’t remember it wasn’t lilys art style so I don’t think it was her)
